The only thing I could remember is my body being moved by the cold, but at the same time warm, water of the sea. Perhaps I had fallen, perhaps I just jumped directly to feel the contact of the sea, I didn’t know. I could not remember anything else. I wasn’t afraid, however there was a strange feeling travelling through my veins and a lot of different images running in my mind for some reason. It was impossible to identify and understand what they meant and why they were so familiar to me. At least, I could say I was alive.
When I finally touched the floor with my own hands, I realized it was made of mirror. The huge mirror was extended under me, reflecting all what was in front of it. I stood up carefully because it seemed like it would break at any moment. I looked in the mirror floor and I saw an unusual face. Until that moment I didn’t know how my face looked like. I started to analyse it with much attention. My eyes weren’t the same colour; the left one was soft green while the other one, the right, was light blue, just like the water around me. My nose was long and my mouth, small and pinky. My hair was a little bit wavy and very long; my hair’s colour reminded me of the sunlights of summer. It looked like the brightest gold of the golds. The hair was subjected by a high ponytail.
After being analysing myself for a while, I raised my face from the mirror and looked in front of me. What I saw was so much better than seeing my face. There was an amazing amount of houses, surrounded by many types of fish of different colours: dark blue; light yellow; green, like the grass; gold, like my hair…right in front of me. There weren’t only fish swimming around there, I also saw seahorses, octopuses, turtles and even whales swimming between the houses and near people. A great deal of different plants were also decorating the streets, giving a beautiful touch of colour to the maritime landscape. Long, short, big, small, thin, thick flowers were resting in front of my eyes.
I was surprised with such an incredible and stunning place. I had never seen a space like this, not even in my best dreams. But at that moment I was not dreaming, it was real, I was right there seeing it with my own eyes. My ears were also enjoying that instant, not any less than my eyes. A sublime amount of sounds around me were giving a such magic sensation to the place. I felt like I was in the middle of the sea; yet I really was.
I took a step forward, slowly, to the uncommon world which was extended in front of me. The water was surrounding my body and carefully moving my hair. I was excited before the new world, nevertheless I felt like home. It was the home I had lost in the deepest corner of my mind, but in that instant I was recovering it. I had turned to my home after having been nowhere.
